Cheap and tasty hawker food is just a normal daily affair in Penang. Here's a little taste of it as I eat & blog . A simple Hawker Food Menu is on the left column. I hope you enjoy your visit!

A unique Indian sweet dish made of steamed fine stands eaten with freshly grated coconut and brown sugar. Best eaten with your fingers for that extra authentic taste. Finger licking goodness. This was sold at the Pulau Tikus market.

I couldn't resist the fried fish roe with fried chicken on rice, drowned with curry. Just so much better than a big Mac. Fortunately I don't eat this ask there time, I can feel my arteries clogging up already.

Still my favorite fried Indian noodles. It is opposite the police station in Pulau Tikus. Make sure to ask for extra sotong. Cuttlefish = sotong

I can feel my blood pressure rising already with those tasty bursts of salty goodness.

A favorite fast breakfast is freshly packed Nasi Lemak. Spicy prawns or fish with a slice of boiled egg. Packed with coconut rice in a banana leaf. Phew mine was spicy!

Its been a while since I had some good Penang food. Nice hot curry Mee for breakfast.
